Jo Walker is the Via Clinic’s Practice Manager, bringing with her a wealth of know how from different industries. She qualified as an accountant with the Association of Accounting Technicians and following her graduation, moved to Spain for 18 months and completed her PADI scuba Divemaster course and then began work in a dive school.
Upon her return to the UK she commenced work as a home carer in Hampshire, providing personal care, nutritional support, medication, and financial and social care for service users. She gained experience in assisting patients with a wide range of ailments from cancer to multiple sclerosis. Having recognised that she had a passion for health care, Jo extended her career to work with mental health patients at the Priory Hospital, Woking, providing high quality care and support to patients with acute psychiatric illnesses and addiction issues. At the Via Clinic Jo is normally first point of contact and her understanding of different life situations and empathic nature, has endeared her to many patients.
Her hobbies include motorcycle racing, listening to music, travelling, cycling, rock climbing, skiing, diving and socialising with family and friends.
